innovative projects

I am phuti Ragophala the principal of pula Madibogo Primary. Came up with innovative projects to assist learners to path their careers. not only careers but to fight poverty and unemployment in the community of Mankweng in Limpopo Province
The following are the projects in the school yard:

• perma culture
• poultry
• medicinal herb making
• IT
• baking
• grooming of girls into leadership

They all benefit the community
The school is now a hub of service delivery beyond academic services
 Replicated and sustainability is done   through exposure visits and meetings and workshops
Through the assistance of Coza Cares, Netday and Schoolnet and FTFA and Khanya Africa development services, we are able to replicate and sustain our  greening and herbal work and we are growing
From the greening project people harvest vegetables and herbs to cure flu and head sores but some herbs are processed into ointment
Visiwww.pulaointment.wozaonline.co.za and see an ointment done by learners and community members to fight diseases. They use raw herbs and vegetables from the backyard green  garden

The ointment is called All purpose ointment. Learners are equipped with survival skills at an early age hence impoverished community background.
